Positive Impact.

The Social Enterprise Spotlight Series recognises our community for their great contributions to society and their tireless efforts to achieve positive impact through the work they do.

By highlighting social enterprises, we are showcasing the owners behind the enterprises that are generating social impact. It’s an opportunity to showcase their passion and entrepreneurial spirit, which in turn highlights the work they do.

Connections Arts Centre.

Next to feature is Miriam Spollen and her enterprise Connections Arts Centre.

Connections Arts Centre provides easily accessible online Arts & Lifestyle programs where Adults with Disabilities can Learn, Grow and Connect though the Arts. Uniquely all our programs are designed and led based on the needs of the Disability Community. Part of our mission is to empower members of the Disability Community to develop their skills and share their experiences with others.

How has SII supported you & your enterprise?

Social Impact Ireland have helped me take a plan and bring it to next level. They did this by practical process of helping me define my mission, values, customers and relationship between them. They helped me refine my message, tell my story and showed me how to measure impact. The group work was an important part of the process for me, and I now have a new an invaluable support network of peers on the same journey.
All of this has led me to where I am now, ready for the next step.

Enjoy the evening again and again! Watch below

Miriam hosted a inspirational and interactive evening which featured Brendan O Connor – he is creating and delivering pet care classes and will deliver them on the Connections platform. Then we had Chair Yoga with Anya and a Mindfulness Art with Sharon.
